DMCA Policy

crann.ai respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law.

1. Filing a DMCA takedown notice

If you believe that content on crann.ai infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent with the following information:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on crann.ai where the material appears
Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf

3. What happens after a notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly
Notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed and the reason why
Provide the user with information about filing a counter-notification if they believe the removal was in error

4. Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the following information:

Your physical or electronic signature
Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
Your name, address, and telephone number
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your area and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.

5. Repeat infringers

crann.ai will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We consider a user to be a repeat infringer if they have received two or more valid DMCA takedown notices. Account termination is at our sole discretion.
