Getting Started
Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first published leaf.
1. Create your account
Head to crann.ai/signup and register with your email and password, or sign in with Google or GitHub. You must be at least 13 years old.
2. Choose a username
During onboarding you'll pick a unique username. This becomes your personal subdomain — username.crann.ai — so choose something memorable.
3. Set up your profile
Add a profile picture, bio, and location. Your profile is the public face of your crann.ai presence and is visible to anyone who visits your page.
4. Create your first leaf
Leaves are your content spaces. Create one from your dashboard — give it a name, choose a theme, and set the visibility. You can create personal leaves, business pages, or community spaces. Choose a display mode: Feed for a timeline, Gallery for visuals, or Podcast for audio content.
5. Add content
Publish posts, create static pages, and add events to your leaf. You can upload images, embed audio, pin important posts, and use AI to help draft content. Tags are extracted automatically to help with discoverability.
6. Share your leaf
Share your leaf URL (username.crann.ai) with friends, colleagues, or your audience. You can also download a QR code for offline sharing, connect your own domain for a branded URL, or share posts to other leaves. Others can follow your leaf and engage with your content.
